In the first printing, Page 165 has some errors. Click here to download a pdf with things fixed. Sorry 'bout that! And thanks to Jim Greene and Matha Vogt for pointing it out.

Sales are going well!
Diana and I are currently living in the Netherlands, getting some experience working abroad. But we came home for Christmas and while we were there we did some interviews with the Stettler independent and the Red Deer Advocate. Thanks Robin Tarnowetzki and Lanna Michelin for getting the message out there! The media coverage sure has sparked some interest, and Norm back home in Stettler sure keeps busy busy shipping out books.

We managed to score a table at the last minute at MEC paddlefest in Carburn Park, SE Calgary. On the day of the event we woke up to monsoonal rains. Darn, we thought, this fest is going to be a bust. But mid-morning the clouds lifted, just in time for the kick-off of the festivities. Despite the gloomy weather the turnout was great.
We got a table right along the main path. Our new vinyl banner seemed to draw lots of attention. We spoke to a lot of people, got some great feedback, and we sold a pile of books!
Thanks everyone for coming out, and thanks MEC for organizing the event!

The books have arrived from the printer! We got an email saying that the shipment has arrived at the TransX trucking depot in southeast Calgary. We borrowed Stu's pickup truck (thanks Stu!) and drove out there. I guess they're unaccustomed to private customers at this place, and we felt very small among the hundreds of tractor-trailers milling around. But we managed to find a forklift driver who located our pallet, and we loaded the 24 boxes of books into the truck.
On the drive back we had a quick peek (I know, no distracted driving) and we're thrilled with the results. The colors look awesome. The photos came out great, the maps are sharp, and the paper is very high quality.
